At its core, "Ethical Investment" is a range of investment styles which go beyond simple financial returns to incorporate a clients Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and their Ethical Values into the investment process.

Ethical Investments have also been performing extremely well in recent years and have excelled during this COVID year of 2020.

But more than just for performance, consumers now expect that their savings to be invested in a way that does no harm, and ideally leaves the work in a better place.

Stuart Palmer is the Head of Ethics Research at Australian Ethical. He evaluates the impacts which companies, products, services and operations have on People, Animals and the Environment.
